由18歲未生日開始就一直話要考個車牌,考到今時今日
如果好手神應該已經教埋貨櫃車牌,但到今天為止連一
個電單車牌都無,更何況係私家車以至貨van牌
我唔係唔想考,問題係我真係手上連買路票既錢都無,正
宗長期糧尾,學車要錢,考牌租車又要錢,去運輸署出牌都
係錢,結果連一個無見好耐既朋友都話考牌,我,唯有繼續
抬抬手,睇下有無的士大哥載我去目的地...
希望30歲前完成呢個夢想,不過我諗呢個都係夢想...

呵呵.....係呀....考車真係要用幾多錢/時間, 不過當你身邊咁多人有車牌既時候真係要認真諗下係咪要考. 當公共交通咁發達, 係咪一定要有個車牌?
哈哈...而我, 一個車牌既女子來說. 車牌/駕車是我同我既朋友既一個talking point only~ ^^
So you need have one plan now ! First, save little money (may be $500, seems enough !) in each month. Then you can do it after a couple of years. If only have dream, but don't prepare to do anything. You can't have any result.
Again and again for my friends : If you dream it, you can do it, so you still a youth.
You're right. A good example I've met: if you're over 30, you may easily getting one-off pass. The examiner would think you're unlikely to be a reckless driver.

$1148 for applying driving test
About $90-$100 per hour for learning driving (private instructor, not recommended to HKxM), you may need to attend 30-40 hours minimum, total cost you up to $4500 (include $500 car rent for driving test).
If you pass the test, take a 10-year license for $900.

Reply to #1: over 80% of driving license holder in HK don't own a car. Have a driving license is still an advantage over those haven't. Think of a job which includes driving duty, if you can't drive, how to apply for it? Still, you may discuss with your friends of driving topics, that's a lot of fun! If you know nothing about driving, you can't understand what they say.
Learn to drive can somewhat alert you to be a good road user even being a pedestrian.

I am so lucky, my position doesn't need any driving skill. Nevertheless, I don't know which side is right and which side is left, so I will not learn how to drive.
唔知點解, 自從有車牌之後, 我都係enjoy做乘客多一點. 耐唔耐楂下車... 都幾刺激...(雖然危害香港市民安全).
所以有車有牌既我. 都唔常楂車. 停車場同油錢實在負擔太大了...
